Fits Any Truck/Tent
MOUNT
Mount your roof tent directly to the top of the o-frame - no additional crossbars required. And the o-frame comes in custom heights: pick your tent, measure your truck, and mount your tent flush with the top of your cab.
PROTECT
The o-frame is a full enclosure for your truck bed that keeps rain and snow out of your bed. It also reduces dust and dirt from from covering your gear. Don’t choose between tent-mounting and protecting your gear.
SECURE
The o-frame features a lockable back hatch and side panels. This means you get great access to your gear but nobody else does. Don’t choose between tent-mounting and secure gear.
CUSTOMIZE
The o-frame is designed to be customized by you - that's why we designed it with modular mounting slots inside and out. With an o-frame you can build your rig for every adventure.
Aluminum Frame
The foundation of the o-frame is a light-weight aluminum structure. The roof of this structure is made of two rails that run the length of the frame between which are four perpendicular crossbars. The roof frame is then attached to two bottom rails with four vertical supports.
Aluminum extrusion doesn't just boast a very high strength to weight ratio but also continuous mounting slots. All four rails and all four crossbars have mounting slots on each face - that means you get modular mounting inside and out.
This aluminum structure, or exoskeleton, is designed to be exposed and seen. Roof and side panels attach to the frame without covering its mounting slots or clean lines.
Sliding Side Panels
Built into the o-frame's aluminum structure are two solid, HDPE side panels that serve multiple functions. Primarily, these panels help to create the o-frame's continuous enclosure. They shed rain and snow and keep dust and dirt from your gear. Along with the tailgate hatch, these side panels lock into place and keep your bed secure.
The side panels also slide. They fit between the top and bottom rails and simply sit in the aluminum extrusion slots. By pulling the panels away from the cab, the side of the frame opens to allow access to your bed.
The side panels are also table tops. Remove and remount the panels horizontally on support brackets. Now you have two table tops on your truck great for making coffee, cooking food, or holding your gear.
Tailgate Hatch
The tailgate end of the o-frame features a polycarbonate-steel composite hatch. The polycarbonate panel is light-weight and durable while riveted steel angles add rigidity. The hatch is attached to the frame with top-mounted hinges and locks into place with two T-handles.
Polycarbonate is incredibly durable but also clear. A clear back hatch allows you (the driver) to see under your roof tent and through your o-frame to the road.
The tailgate hatch is designed to open independently from the sliding side panels but lock with the same T-handles. When you need your gear, unlock at the tailgate and either lift the hatch or slide out a side panel.
Roof Panels
The roof of the o-frame is constructed with thin aluminum panels bolted to the aluminum extrusion frame. These panels overlap the crossbars and top rails and compress rubber seals between the panels and frame.
The overlapping panel design and rubber seals ensure water runs off the top of your frame and not into your bed.
The roof panels add structural integrity by limiting the frame's ability to deform and keeping the crossbars parallel. These panels also create another platform on your rig. Use them to hold your gear at camp or stand on them to open and close your tent.
